How to Apply
COURSE STRUCTURE AND ELIGIBILITY
The college offers the following academic programmes:
1. LL.B (Three Year Law Course)
Intake: 60 Seats
Eligibility: Any graduate (10+2+3/4) pattern from the recognized University with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST, 42% for OBC) or equivalent degree course.
2. B.A.LL.B. (Five Year Law Course)
Intake: 60 Seats
Eligibility: Student who has passed the 12th standard (10+2) pattern with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST, 42% for OBC) or equivalent qualification.
3. LL.M (Two Year Law Course)
Intake: 60 Seats
Eligibility: Three- or Five-Year Law Degree from any recognised University.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Since the Academic Year 2016-17, the Maharashtra Govt. (vide GR. No. CET - 2015/379, dated 4/12/2015) through its State Common Entrance Test cell., Maharashtra Govt. has announced CET for admission in all law college affiliated to statuary Universities in Maharashtra State.
Hence, the admission to the first Year of both the law courses (3/5 Year, LL.B.) shall be made as per rules & regulations made by the Govt. of Maharashtra. Admission procedure for subsequent classes i.e, from second year shall be made as per Shivaji University. rules & regulations. Admission to LL.M Course are made as per rules & regulations of Shivaji University Kolhapur.
GENERAL RULES OF ADMISSION:
Generally, no admissions are allowed after the expiry of 30 days from the date of commencement of First Term. Students are therefore required to take admissions at the earliest after the declaration of their result of respective qualifying examination.
Documents Required for Admission
- Original statement of marks of the qualifying examination with 2 certified copies
- Transfer Certificate from previous college (if applicable)
- Eligibility Certificate (for students from other universities)
- Scholarship/Freeship application (if applicable)
- Passport and Visa (for foreign students)
- Eight Identity Card size recent photographs
- Election Card, Bank Passbook & other documents as notified
Important Notes
- All admissions shall be provisional and subject to confirmation
- Students from other universities must obtain eligibility certificate before end of first term
- Foreign students must provide AIDS test certificate
- No admission after 30 days from commencement of First Term
